This creature is a human sized ZOMBIE, HUMAN. It's a competent fighter with very low hit points. It's very slow, quite clumsy, has no armor against bashing weapons and very high armor against cutting ones (that includes bullets). Has low armor against acid. Its special ability allows it to perform a special scratch attack, every 10 turns; bite you, and sometimes bite you nastily, every 5 turns.
It has extremely high morale and it's totally aggressive. Being a ZOMBIE, HUMAN, it's afraid of ZOMBIE, HUMAN, and can be angered by ZOMBIE, HUMAN.
It can see, can hear noises, its attacks can make you bleed, is very hard to shoot at (some hits are treated as misses), resuscitates after a few hours (unless its corpse is either smashed to a pulp or butchered), doesn't breathe (it's not affected by smoke, toxic gases, drowning, etc), is poisonous to eat (produces tainted meat when butchered), can produce bones and sinews when butchered, and nothing else.
Being made of bone, it's vulnerable to nothing in particular.
When it dies, nothing unusual happens.
(View - Edit Notes )Notes
- While there's nothing impressive about its stats, skeletons are very resistant against bullets and arrows. This may give ranged characters a hard time killing them, even more so when the skeleton is accompanied by other zombie variants. If possible, isolate it and kill it with a melee weapon. Even a simple one will work, as the skeleton is pretty fragile. Bashing weapons work the best.
- Skeletons seem to be more likely to inflict bleeding on the player than other zombies due to their higher cutting damage, carrying a rag or bandage is recommended for if one needs to fight a skeleton.
