 With a stinger the size of a kitchen knife, this dog-sized insect's black and yellow markings warn you to leave it undisturbed. 

This creature is a dog sized insect. It's a competent fighter with very low hit points. It's faster than you, agile, has low armor against bashing weapons and moderate armor against cutting ones (that includes bullets).

It has very low morale and it's mostly peaceful. Being a insect, it's afraid of being hurt, nearby fires, and can be angered by nearby monsters of the same type dying. It can also be angered by being hurt, nearby monsters of the same type dying, when the player gets within a few tiles.

It can see, is able to smell characters, its attacks can poison you, can fly over water, traps, fire and acid, stumbles around, can produce chitin when butchered, likes to stay with others of its kind, has better morale when around friends, and nothing else.
