Some towers will spawn with the Radio Shack, a pleasant place to pick up miscellaneous technical curiosities.
Climbing on a radio tower, especially with binoculars, will provide unmatched overmap field of view.
There is a lab computer that shows you all the current radio towers nearby, not useful.
