Stranger Danger

If you want to go outside to get some fresh air well... DONT! Go outside only if necessary if your food and water supply is almost running out and if you truly need to get some valuable items to help you survive more. Probably when you go outside you may encounter wild animals which can be friendly or deadly and you might even encounter a zombie walking around from a far distance. Always be careful of those zombies mostly if you don't have a weapon but wielding a good decent weapon will do the trick! For starters you need to craft a cudgel because it is the most strongest weapon early on in your first day. Fighting zombies is tough, you may need a high dodging skill or a medium melee skill for them to take on. If you're lucky though you might kill a few zombies getting in your way. Don't fight if you see a zombie chasing you, just walk away until they are out of sight where they wont find you. Seriously though i tried doing that several times and that's how i ended up getting killed many times. Only "run" when in dangerous situations, don't run away because you think you are going to be eaten alive from 3 normal zombies chasing you. Run only when you are cornered from a horde of zombies or if you are being chased by a feral runner because this zombies are extremely fast you might need to kill them because running only depletes your stamina and they will catch up after a few moves, running too much will deplete your stamina faster. Stamina has so much use like smashing something, killing creatures/npc's, etc. Avoid tough zombies because they are super tough than a normal zombie, avoid this zombies if necessary. The last one is when a zombie is dead its not actually dead dead its just severely damaged and might come back again after a few minutes (in-game minutes), to stop them from rising up again just press s smash and point out where the dead zombie is until a message appears saying "The zombie is pulped" or whatever it says. Thats all for the tips i might update this in the future but i wish this was helpful to you guys. Good luck surviving :3!

House Safety

New players may know that it is quite difficult to keep their house safe from intruders, whether it be zombies or other survivors. This guide will tell new players how to protect their house from wild animals and potentially zombies. Every house should at least have 3-4 bookcases. Press G and pick the direction at where the bookcase is located. This will allow you to drag the bookcase around until it gets too far away from you, or you press G again. Place four in front of every possible window to block visibility, and also to add a line of defense to your safe house. Move all furniture that blocks movement and line of sight in front of the windows as well. Place movement slowing furniture like this(| wall)(+ door)(# movement slowing furniture)(. floor or tile)[1] Now, your house is protected against zombies seeing through your windows, breaking down your door and quickly getting to you, you have a safe place to fight zombies (in front of your door, as they are now slowed), and some storage. Farm life by Rolleol (talk) 21:34, 27 March 2017 (MDT)

Farms are the places in the country where farmers grow plants, vegetables, and livestock. It consists of:

#^# # = farm field
### ^ = farm house
###

In the front of the farm house is a water pump aka infinite water and in the farm fields there are many fruits, vegetables, and maybe even crates, so it's obvious why you'd want to visit a farm or even make it your base! It's a peaceful, secluded building with pre-built defenses (barbed wire, and if you're lucky, traps! just don't fall into holes or get bit by bear traps) The barn could have some tools like acetelyne torches, crowbars, shovels, oh also it has farm animals, you could eat them. Or not.

When you first come into the farm you may notice something. Dogs. Lots of dogs. Don't worry they're harmless if you have decent armours and weapons and you can eat them! Yes! Dog meat! In the mini-barn you may find a few zombies, don't settle down unless they're dead, they may destroy the farmhouse.
