The Medical, Alpha, Elf-A, Slime, and Troglobite mutation trees share a strong advantage over the others - none of their mutations change your anatomy in ways that prevent wearing the powerful end-game armors.

Notes
- If one mutates into a Fey, it is best to specialise in firearms due their higher perception.
- Fey mutants get heavy carry weight penalties - Bad Back and Hollow Bones will reduce it by 3/4 - just 20kg for 10 Strength character! Titanium Skeletal Bracing cancels this problem somewhat but you still won't be able to carry much.
- Feys are the best mutants to interact and work together with NPCs, what little ugliness inducing traits you get are entirely overweighed by Glorious, and their intelligence is higher too, which gives them an even better edge on NPC interaction.
