== Updated to 0.8 ==
I've just updated this whole section (this and other related pages) up to 0.8.
Apart from adding and updating existing CBMs I've restructured the whole thing. As mentioned above, there hasn't been CBM packages since... well, months. All the previous structuring here was then outdated and useless.
All CMBs now have their respective own pages, and all now should be shown in the CBMs category.
The only thing that remains to update is the CMB menu at the bottom of each page, which still leads to the old CBM packages. I guess it should list now all the individual CBMs, although that will increase its size considerably. I don't think I have the strength or will to do that myself, at least now. Maybe Teranos is more willing, as he usually is the one devoted to those areas of this wiki.
I won't say I'm happy with the actual structure and the way it's presented (single lists all over the place), but at least it's both updated and correspond to the current implementation of bionics in the game.
Hopefully all this will be further tweaked and streamlined (or at least prettified) a bit more in the future.

Malfunctioning bionics are now all listed only on this page. I think it is best to move them all to their own page, and include them using a template, just like how mutations work on the specific threshold mutation pages. Anybody disagree? --[[User:Soyweiser|Soyweiser]] ([[User talk:Soyweiser|talk]]) 09:32, 14 July 2015 (PDT)
== Bionics locations. ==
I removed the bionics locations from the list of the bionics, as the locations thing is alittle bit outdated. However, we could add it back in again, by looking at item_groups.json, but I'm not sure how valuable it is, as a few of the groups seem to be nested. And knowing the torsion racket drops from the 'bionics_tech' list doesn't tell you which locations and mobs have that droplist. I think a better way to implement these kinds of droplists is to add that functionality to the item browser (pro's: automatically updated, nested links easier to represent, etc). == Updates - 9/28/2021 ==
I added a (somewhat temporary) section regarding post 0.F experimental below the listing of corpses that drop CBMs in stable. There's been a TON of posts on the subreddit asking why shockers and techs no longer drop CBMs and where to get them for now. I will come back and continue adding to this once the Exodii faction has been further implemented and CBMs are moved to their interactions, but i figured this is a great way to get some questions answered by pointing people here.

CBM packages

These have been removed. CBM's are now only single bionic installs. --Soyweiser (talk) 12:02, 20 March 2013 (PDT)

Updated to 0.8

Malfunctioning bionics

Malfunctioning bionics are now all listed only on this page. I think it is best to move them all to their own page, and include them using a template, just like how mutations work on the specific threshold mutation pages. Anybody disagree? --Soyweiser (talk) 09:32, 14 July 2015 (PDT)

Bionics locations.

Anybody else have a better idea? --Soyweiser (talk) 13:39, 10 November 2017 (MST)

Updates - 9/28/2021

I added a (somewhat temporary) section regarding post 0.F experimental below the listing of corpses that drop CBMs in stable. There's been a TON of posts on the subreddit asking why shockers and techs no longer drop CBMs and where to get them for now. I will come back and continue adding to this once the Exodii faction has been further implemented and CBMs are moved to their interactions, but i figured this is a great way to get some questions answered by pointing people here.
