Prison Break is a special scenario where you play as a prisoner who's escape plans had to begin sooner than expected. Starting in the mess hall or maybe already escaped in the sewers they have no longer have to worry about the security guards caving their skulls in. Just the zombies eating their brains and [[turret]]s shooting their brains out.
Some prisons can be found on islands of [[lake]]s.

Most doors in the prison are understandably locked. Unlocked doors include the guard bunks and kitchen doors. They are no match to some [[lockpicking]] or [[makeshift crowbar]], but bear in mind jailbirds that the inside of the prison is too dark to craft either! You will find vanilla [[zombies]], [[zombie cop]]s and [[zombie brute]]s to ruin your day. Zombie cops may carry guns, [[tonfa]]s and other cop gear. Thankfully they won't use them. Zombie brutes will wreck your face if they can reach it. Always remember to run! Thankfully they can't break through bars - includes bar doors- , but normal doors and bookshelves are fair game!

There is the mess hall full of benches and some zombies which leads into the kitchen over the counter. Stocked with some food. There is a stairs south of the mess hall which leads to a room of bookshelves and a bunk room. A locked door leads to the reception where tonfas and other police gear lay unattended. Turrets roam the halls near here, and they won't think twice about riddling a prospective escapee with bullets. The good news is they'll kill zombies too.

Many people that weren't out of jail to hide during the apocalypse are here, some were quite the brutes there. Some machines haven't gave up on their guard duty even during those times. You might want to bring some explosive force to roam inside here. Explore the insides with care.

Some prisons can be found on islands of lakes.

Prison Break Scenario

Added in 0.D (Danny) and updated in 0.E (Ellison) Prison Break is a special starting scenario where you play as a Convict whose escape plans had to begin sooner than expected, or a member of the police who was on duty here before the cataclysm and is locked in the prison with the zombies.

Even more difficult, there is the Challenge-Island Prison scenario, which also means you need to either build a boat or swim out to the mainland.
