: The reason for the change of name was to link this guide to the name of the map tile it basically refers to, which is the Triffid Grove. OK. I'm not particularly attached to the term, just wanted to keep the terms precise. No worries. (But since the Heart is a coordinating and semi-sentient entity, IIRC, perhaps the implications have something to them...?) ;-) [[User:KA101|KA101]] ([[User talk:KA101|talk]]) 19:50, 15 September 2013 (PDT) |

What is J-Hammer? A sledgehammer? Or something else?
- It's a gas-powered pneumatic drill: either of the Jackhammer or Jacqueshammer. They work exactly the same. Will clarify, thanks.KA101 (talk) 19:23, 13 June 2013 (PDT)
- the Jacqueshammer was removed in 0.D (Danny) so removed any references to it. And fixed the strang way jackhammer was written. The guide is still outdated sadly. --Soyweiser (talk) 05:55, 25 January 2018 (MST)
OK, not a HQ
What should we call the entire stack? "Triffid grove" is the upper level, so that seems imprecise. KA101 (talk) 14:01, 15 September 2013 (PDT)
- The reason for the change of name was to link this guide to the name of the map tile it basically refers to, which is the Triffid Grove. But your term is preserved and still explained in the guide itself, so further references there shouldn't create any confusion (and I still like the thought of a real triffid HQ, and all the funny implications). About the term itself, and if you want further suggestions (and I agree that it's not easy), maybe "Triffid Compound" would fit. Another alternative would be to just list all the levels "Triffid grove, roots and heart", but I don't quite like that. Either way, this can be reverted as easily as it was changed without any further collateral damage. So if you still think it was good as it was before just let me know, and I'll do so. --Kenoxite (talk) 15:16, 15 September 2013 (PDT)
