: It's definitely a trick. We ''will'' get vehicle-on-vehicle loading and/or towing ''one day'' making this sort of trickery obsolete. Still, a "Tips & Tricks" section might be valuable for the primer. Looter/explorer and mobile base trick
If you mount a mobile welding rig on your mobile base, you can disassemble your looter/explorer, put all the parts in an external cargo rig (which can be mounted on the outside of your vehicle). And drive away. This way you have the best of both worlds. Both a mobile base, and a looter/explorer.
The basics are of course using a wheelbarrow/shopping cart and assembling/disassembling it on location. But you can expand this as needed. --Soyweiser (talk) 02:40, 17 June 2015 (PDT)
- It's definitely a trick. We will get vehicle-on-vehicle loading and/or towing one day making this sort of trickery obsolete. Still, a "Tips & Tricks" section might be valuable for the primer.
