It's a coffeemaker that never runs out of batteries, and as such can slowly but surely boil All The Water too. Though it's built quite sturdily, it can still leak radiation if damaged, so treat it with respect and repair/jettison if it gets damaged. Easily the best item for purifying water in-game, always keep this tucked away safely in your home or in your Backpack, it can easily replace the role of any item used for purifying water, including Mess Kits and Water Purifiers, when you find these you may no longer need to use those for water purification.
