  • February: Energy-dense samples from the netherum are repurposed into high-density energy cells. The actual origin of the raw materials is kept silent. These energy cells are rapidly repurposed to power energy weapons and tools that would otherwise be theoretical, and to improve on the energy cell design of power armors.
  • July 2024: Several smaller powered exoskeletons, including both the private defense contractor Rivtech’s version and a US government one, are released for field use.
  • November: Laser weapons powered by new energy technology are made widely available to military procurement, albeit still in small numbers.
