The Water Extraction Unit bionic allows the user to extract clean water from corpses at the cost of 2 power. It can be found as a part of CBM: Nutritional and CBM: Desert Survival.

If you have this bionic installed, it is best to drag a corpse into your safehouse and extract water from it instead. As of v1.9.5, corpses provide unlimited amounts of water, and can be found almost everywhere. Keeping a corpse in your safehouse and using this bionic to create water eliminates the need to use a water purifier on dirty water or venture outside to get water from shallow ponds.
