  • Named for the cult classic horror film CHUD, in which such creatures infest New York's sewers.
  • C.H.U.D. means "Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller"; in the movie it is also a reference to an organization: "Contamination Hazard Urban Disposal".
  • Typically these creatures can be found in subways and sewers.
  • May sometimes drop mutagen when killed, this makes them quite valuable to kill when you find them.
