Rat king's special attack gives that disease for 20 turns if character in 9-square radius from him. Every 20 points of duration decrease intellect by 1. Every 50 points decrease strength by 1. And every 25 points decrease perception by 1. Also there are raising chances to vomit, increment counter of rat mutations category, and mutate.

Death of rat king removes this disease.
