Internal variable for time cost. Ten turns are equal to one minute.

Each time you move or do an action, the game will show you how much it have cost, in the section under the chat, it's the last number (after Spd xxx)

Base cost movement is equal to 100 in most squares. Come cost more (Counter = 200, windows = 400 ...) : see Terrain Type[1] to learn more.

Each point of encumbrance in legs part increase/reduce it by 3. (Like Skirt[2], Long Underwear[3]

Each point of encumbrance in feet part increase/reduce it by 5. (Like Snearkers[4]

Don't forget that you will get a malus to 15 points when you don't wear something at your feet, unless you get a mutation that cancel this.

Mutation Light Bones[5] reduce movement cost of 10%.

Mutation Hollow Bones[6] reduce movement cost by 20%. (NOT additive with Light Bones, it replace it)

Mutation Flee-Footed[7] reduce movement cost by 15%. (Only if the terrain cost is esqual to 100)

Mutation Road-Runner[8] reduce movement cost by 30%. (NOT compatible with Flee-Footed, it replace it) (Only if the terrain cost is esqual to 100)

Mutation Insect Wings[9] reduce movement cost by 15point).

This lead to 27 base movement cost on any terrain cost of 100.


When you try to melee attack, it will cost you a number of turn depending of the weight and the volume of the item you wield.

moves per attack = 65 + (4 x weapon's volume) + (2 x weapon's weight)[10]

Unarmed attack cost 65.

Torso encumbrance increase/reduce it by 20. Tank top[11], under armor[12], Wool Poncho[13], Jumpsuit[14] help reducing encumbrance when they fit[15] your body.

Mutation Light Bones[16] and Hollow Bones[17] reduce cost of attack by 10% and 20%.

Some weapon use the flag Rapid attack[18]. It may when you swing your weapon, reduce the cost of the attack by 50 %. This bonus is added after other modifier.

Minimum delay between two attacks is 25.

Throwing an item cost 125 point no matter what.

Fire with a ranged weapon cost a number of point depending of the type of the weapon (bow, crossbow, or other)

Bows[19] have a base time to fire, witch is reduced by your skill.

Crossbow[20] attack in two time : you need to reload first (reduced time with strenght) and then fire.

Affect your Current speed under the caractere panel in game, by an amout of %.
