As of 0.G (March 2023) such a hand mirror is required to be able to train social speech! If you want to be capable to turn down the usual paranoia of survivor NPCs by using a really high social skill you need those practical self trainings beyond the theoretical knowledge of books. Regrettably, these items are rarely found by scavenging small town houses. Will the developer/coder change that?
