Piles of rubble can be found in crater zones and in wrecked buildings. It can be cleared using a shovel, or any other tool with the digging quality of 2 or higher, by examining it or using your tool. Shoveling is hard work, so this will make you hungry and thirsty more quickly.

Rubble hides all items on its tile (currently includes newly placed things, like zombie corpses).
