The washboard is a tool in 0.D (Danny) to wash filthy clothing using soap or detergent, and water. To use it, carry the clothes and soap/detergent in your inventory and activate it with a. Water may be drawn from a nearby containter or directly from a tile of water or deep water in the world, which acts as an infinite water source. There is no difference between using soap or detergent, and the amount of soap and water depends on the item(s) being washed.

It can also be used to wash filthy components created by cutting up or disassembling filthy clothing. The game takes size of items into account. Larger items tend to use up more soap and detergent charges.
