This is a military anti-personnel mine that is triggered when stepped upon.

Notes

An explosive trap that is triggered when stepped upon. It must be partially buried to be effective, and so you will need a shovel to use it. Obviously you can dig up plenty of these in the minefields, but they may also be placed in survivor houses. You can craft some yourself too.

Like many traps, it can be defused by examining it, but failing the check may cause the mine to detonate (ouch). Check the traps page for more information on the skill check specifics.

Minefields

During the apocalypse some minefields were put down by various factions for various reasons. While the factions and reasons for laying the minefields are gone, the minefields remain, beware signs warning of minefields.
