Forests are usually dense with shrubs and trees. Mushrooms, strawberries, apples, and blueberries can be found in forests, as can heavy sticks.
A particular forest might be a Sparse forest, a Dense forest, or a spider pit. There will be a lot of webbing and 1-2 web spiders. Sometimes, there's also an underground Cavern full of webs and a trap-door spider lair accessible via sinkholes & a downslope. However, not every spider-surface has a spider pit underneath.
