As you might guess, BBs aren't exactly what you're looking for if you want damage. However, this gun offers something a little more valuable: An easy, mostly quiet way to train marksmanship and rifle skill. Simply attract one zombie of your choice that's slower than you and pepper them with BBs, taking time to precisely aim. With virtually no recoil, you'll get a dozen or so shots onto target before you even have to consider moving. Hitting repeatedly will give you plenty of practical work with marksmanship and rifles, rapidly bringing you up to par if you didn't start with either of those skills, while simultaneously avoiding the noise and wasted ammo inherent with training with real firearms.
Funnily enough, the BB gun can be lethal to normal zombies in just a few hits. While they usually do only 3 or so damage, they still inflict bleeding, leaving the zombie gushing blood all over with bad bleeding from multiple BBs.

Popular among children. It's fairly accurate, but BBs deal nearly no damage. It could be used to practice your rifle skill up to level 1.

Notes
