Alcohol is a disease caused by drinking alcoholic beverages. The duration of the effect per shot depends on the character's strength (680 - 10*[str_max]). The Lightweight trait adds additional 300 turns to the duration. In addition, alcohol increases the painkiller counter by 8 per shot.

The disease status is displayed as Tipsy, Drunk (duration longer than 800 turns), Trashed (>1400) or Wasted (>2200).
