A steel compactor or recycler can recycle metal items into scrap. It can output metal in the form of lumps of steel, sheet metal, scrap metal, or chunks of steel.

Steel compactors may be found behind hardware stores and inside pump stations.

Makes a lot of noise (80) when used.
