Roads are found commonly in cities or running across the country. They almost always lead to somewhere of significance.
As of , roads are often littered with wrecked vehicles and, more rarely, intact vehicles with no fuel. Roads always have terrain type with a movement cost of 100. Therefore, traveling on roads is much faster than in swamps and sewers, even without a vehicle. Roads are impassable obstacles to burrowing entities such as giant worms.
Roads inside cities can spawn zombies.
