Scavenging is the primary method of obtaining whatever goodies you want after the cataclysm, it may be a basic gameplay mechanic, but it can also get very challenging, this guide shows how to get in, get the stuff you need, and get out.

Where to scavenge

The city is where most players would think about when they want to scavenge, don't let all that loot lure you in too fast though, the city is the epicentre of the zombie hordes, if you don't have a plan or the equipment to break, enter and defend yourself, you shall end up seriously injured or dead...

The countryside also has places to scavenge, and it may be desirable to gather what you can out there in order to train your skills and prepare for going back into into the city again with the skills and resources to go deeper into the centre.
