This is a heavy clothing item made of kevlar, which covers 80% of your torso, and which has a bit of storage capacity. It is extremely bulky, encumbers you a bit, and will provide some warmth to the areas it covers.
It offers low protection against bashing attacks and high protection against cutting ones (that includes bullets), while offering no protection from environmental hazards.
It can be made to fit the character's body via tailoring or mechanics.
