 A knot of tubular roots, flowing with sap and beating like a heart. Strands of vascular tissue reach out to the surrounding root walls. 

This creature is a tank sized plant. It's an awful fighter with insanely high hit points. It's as fast as you, clumsy, has high armor against bashing weapons and very high armor against cutting ones (that includes bullets). Its special ability allows it to create root walls around you or generate all kind of triffids (unless you're besides it), every 5 turns.

It has extremely high morale and it's totally aggressive. Being a plant, it's afraid of being hurt, nearby fires, and can be angered by nothing in particular.

It has no distinguishable head (it's unaffected by head shots), cannot move, when it dies, local populations start to die off too, can produce plant marrow and plant fibre when butchered, and nothing else.

Being made of vegetable matter, it's vulnerable to fire, smoke and, particularly, tear gas and radioactive gas.

When it dies, it stops the spawning of further triffids.
