 An enormous brown ant with an elongated, pulsating abdomen. Its orifice seems developed only for egg-laying rather than spraying acid like the rest of the colony, but it doesn't seem affected by the acrid liquid either. 

This creature is a cow sized insect. It's a competent fighter with very high hit points. It's very slow, quite clumsy, has moderate armor against bashing weapons and very high armor against cutting ones (that includes bullets). Its special ability allows it to lay ant eggs, which it can tend for them to hatch into ant larvas Hatches/grows: `egg > ant > soldier`, every 1 turns.

It has extremely high morale and it's quite aggressive. Being a insect, it's afraid of being hurt, nearby fires, and can be angered by nearby monsters of the same type dying. It can also be angered by nearby monsters of the same type being attacked, nearby monsters of the same type dying, being hurt, when the player gets within a few tiles.

It is immune to acid, can climb terrain and furniture, can hear noises, when it dies, local populations start to die off too, can see, is able to smell characters, and nothing else.

Being made of insect flesh, it's vulnerable to nothing in particular.

When it dies, nothing unusual happens.
