 This is some form of otherworldly hound. Lean and hungry looking, its twisted red flesh is stretched tightly across its misshapen, angular frame. Loping grotesquely along, its unusually long neck stretches forward, its skull-like head near the ground as it sniffs out its prey. Its foulness partially veiled by some arcane force, it seems to almost flicker in and out of your perceptions in a fashion that awakens ancient nameless terrors in the back of your mind 

This creature is a dog sized nether inhabitant. It's a competent fighter with very low hit points. It's as fast as you, extremely agile, has no armor against bashing weapons and moderate armor against cutting ones (that includes bullets).

It has extremely high morale and it's totally aggressive. Being a nether inhabitant, it's afraid of being hurt, and can be angered by nothing in particular.

It can see, is able to smell characters, can hear noises, is warm blooded (it appears in infrared), can bash destroyable objects in its way (like doors), will flee for several turns after a melee attack, doesn't breathe (it's not affected by smoke, toxic gases, drowning, etc), can produce bones and sinews when butchered, does not leave any remains (body pieces) when blown apart, and nothing else.

Being made of flesh, it's vulnerable to nothing in particular.

When it dies, it melts away.
